KW Military Donations
At KW Military, we honor and support all who have served—both the brave men and women in uniform and the loyal K9s who stood beside them. This March, in recognition of K9 Veterans Day on March 13th, we are proud to partner with the Warrior Dog Foundation to support retired military and law enforcement K9s who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country.
These courageous canines operate in some of the most high-risk environments, detecting explosives, apprehending threats, and safeguarding our military personnel. Yet, when their service ends, many face an uncertain future—some even at risk of euthanasia. That’s where the Warrior Dog Foundation steps in, providing these K9 heroes with the care, rehabilitation, and well-earned retirement they deserve. Currently, the foundation is caring for 30 retired K9s at its Texas facility, with an ever-growing waitlist of dogs in need of a safe and secure future.
Your support means the world to us—and, more importantly, to the K9s who have sacrificed so much in service to our country. With your generous donations, you are helping save these heroic dogs, ensuring they receive the care and dignity they deserve after years of protecting our freedoms and communities. Thank you for standing with us to give these incredible warriors the retirement they have earned.

How do we use the funds?
Thank you for your interest in the Warrior Dog Foundation. When you donate to our foundation the majority of your money goes directly to the care of our K9s to cover costs of food, shelter, physical and mental care and exercise and play. Our overhead costs range from 10 to 20% of our total budget. That means 80-90% of the funds we receive go directly to the care of our retired Warrior Dogs. IRS 990 forms for Warrior Dog Foundation are available on request, or can be viewed on Guidestar @ www.guidestar.org. We state a percentage range because historically WDF has had periods where it was managed by volunteers and/or paid employees, and more recently, by a combination of volunteers and paid professionals for services such as bookkeeping, legal assistance and Certified Public Accountants.
